Dick's Review | The show itself also seems to have more charge than the night before. Even though nothing so far is exceptional, the tunes are worth listening to. As examples of the old style at least everything takes a big change when we get to The Other One which is easily the highlight, so far, of the 2 nights. They don’t really get enormous with it but it is surely a nice treat. Dancin' In The Streets is really the highlight. Here we get right up to inspiring playing. Its not long but its about time we up the ante a little. China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider is also a highlight. I can’t recall hearing a better version from before 1972, This must be one of the 1st ever attempts at the melody of Playing In The Band. It's All Over Now Baby Blue seemed to be a little more intense than usual. |
