Dick's Review | It’s kind of surprising that an audience tape from this period could be listenable especially considering 7/69 - NY State Pavilion. Anyway this is about a 5 star. The acoustic set is mostly noticeable because of a song that I haven’t seen/heard anywhere else: Long Black Limousine. The show itself didn’t impress me very much the first time. Black Peter sure seems to be of it’s most earliest attempt. I just tried adding some high end and it sounds damn listenable! The show really doesn’t have even a noticeable highlight. It is probably as mediocre as they could achieve in those days. Turn On Your Lovelight has a small bit of excitement that hardly makes up for this loser. |
