Dick's Review | I’ve always felt that this show was one of the better performances from a year in which there were many superb attempts. Although most of these tunes are performed better on other shows during this period, it seems to me that each attempt on this show is damn good. China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider is noticeably intense which is quite unusual for 1970 when almost all renditions seem the same. Dancin' In The Streets is ok for what is delivered but it lacks the length and excitement of several versions from this period of time ie 5/2/70. It’s A Man’s World seems to be about as good as it gets which isn’t that much different from show to show. Viola Lee Blues steals the show! |
