| Dick's Review | Very heavy concert. It was some kind of benefit with The Dead, Airplane, and Quicksilver and Hot Tuna (Poppa John’s first appearance). Not only that but it is also the evening of the death of Janis Joplin. Carol and I came back from Kona and went to this show which we had read about and planned to see. The Dead’s set wasn’t particularly noticeable but you couldn’t expect too much in an hour’s time limit. |
