Dick's Review | I don’t know how it took so long to write about this historic show, capping a 4 (or 5?) night stand that is my single favorite series in all Dead History. The quality is again stupendous, it being still the best quality boards I have ever received? The tunes all sound great but there are a few obvious standouts. Hard To Handle is as good as imaginable (only 4/26/71 & 8/6/71 tops it!) The second heaviest part is the unique and thrilling places they go to during the Alligator jam. Finally, to close their history at the Fillmore East we get the most outrageous encore imaginable: In The Midnight Hour |
