Dick's Review | Another drawback to this show is that we get those fucking horns again. Thank somebody that they only ruined a few east coast shows. There is some fairly nice jamming in the last half of Weather Report Suite. Not much of anything happening until Dark Star which has a nice jazzy style to it. It is similar to 10/73-Kiel but not as intense! it is clearly the most interesting playing so far. We get a great bass solo from Phil that flows fantastically into Morning Dew which is another highlight. |
