| Dick's Review | This show is getting its last chance before being erased. Nothing has stood out before so I doubt much will now. China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider is exceptional with a nice lengthy transition between the 2 tunes. The jam section immediately following Truckin' is really nice as it gradually leads into a rare vocal appearance of Nobody's Fault But Mine. Eyes Of The World is quite nice with Horns! Seems like one of the better versions from this period! The jam actually ends with Weather Report Suite but my board copy ends abruptly near the end of Eyes Of The World. Here Comes Sunshine is another exceptional moment for this show, even though the 1st few minutes is missing. Actually this might qualify as the highlight of the show! Greatest Story Ever Told stands out fantastically and might be my favorite version of all! The show is definitely worth keeping. |
