Dick's Review | The 1st set mosies along as usual without much going on until Weather Report Suite which is very aggressive and up-temp (it almost sounds like Big River!) There is a bad break at a highly intense moment and after this things seem to meander for at least 10 min. or so. This isn’t unsatisfying but it doesn’t sound very coherent. There is a pretty seamless transition into Playin' In The Band which is only the ending sequence, lasting 5 min or so. I am going to have to find out when approximately they started doing the transition (between China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider) this thrilling way. This attempt isn’t as exciting as some but it has all the basic ingredients. Greatest Story Ever Told is usually pretty exciting but not much after this. Eyes Of The World is always pretty creative and expressive and Morning Dew is excellent |
