Dick's ReviewRob (Bertando) said that this was the highlight of the 6 nights at the Orpheum theater and it certainly blew my mind. It has the best Fenario (Peggy-O) and Sugaree that I’ve yet heard and the jam from the 2nd set will definitely stand out as one of the finest performances ever.

Dick's 2nd ReviewThe only fault with this tape is that there is a periodic fluctuation on volume throughout the show.

Dick's 3rd ReviewThis 2nd set jam is really one of the best from any year. Yet alone 1976 when things didn’t have that much urgency.

Dick's 4th ReviewI must comment on how exceptional this recording feels to me. This period of taping, this has to rank as one of the finest. Also, I should correct the impression I tried to create for Sugaree. It is pretty good but not close to later versions. Also the jam section, flowing out of a fine version of Comes A Time is very tasty and a highlight of the show. The Other One is surprisingly exciting! The 2nd jam section has a mile, spacey, style that is very “introverted.” Then suddenly it explodes into a mini-mind-scramble. That certainly is a major highlight of this show. This same jam section continues another style that is also quite exceptional. Eyes Of The World is very nice and the following jam section has a development that is easily the highlight of the show. One of those riffs/themes that only occurs once or twice or maybe a few times in a career. The transition back to The Other One is quite thrilling
