Dick's Review | The performance is quite exceptional. Sugaree starts things off in a promising way but most of it is missing! Nothing interesting happens until a fine rousing version of Scarlet Begonias. The Music Never Stopped is very unique in that Garcia uses riffs that aren’t found on later versions of this tune. Playin' In The Band is pretty decent but not exceptional. Good Lovin' is a big surprise being the 2nd time they’ve done this tune since Pig Pen died. There is some very fine playing on the release of Good Lovin' as they move back into the general motif of Playin' In The Band for the 2nd jam section. Comes A Time is another fine surprise. The quality seems to be much better for this jam. Dancing In The Streets continues this tune filled and unusual closing jam. The next very unusual surprise is they somehow fall into Not Fade Away after about 10 minutes of good Dancin' In The Streets. They must have really been loose this night because they move out of a nice Not Fade Away. Garcia plays riffs from China Cat Sunflower. It is obviously too much to ask for since they quickly go back to the rhythm pattern of Not Fade Away. The jam section is mostly concerned with deciding what tune to drop back into. They finally drop Playin' In The Band and finish off Dancing In The Streets. This whole jam is primarily exceptional because of some many unusual tunes strung together in such a unique way | |

Dick's 2nd Review | ((Sticky note: Quality pretty random but the jam is excellent and high unusual for the time)) |
