Dick's ReviewI am just beginning to hear this show and it is more impressive each time I hear it. Garcia and Keith definitely standout on this one. I haven’t heard Keith playing so much “out front” (leads with Garcia) in quite awhile. Maybe it is simply that I finally got a tape that has Godchaux mixed in properly! This show is in the same outstanding class as the 2 shrine shows (ie 10/14 and 10/15 ’76) There is two nice drum solos within the jam from the 2nd set. They toy with The Other One drum entrance but then immediately go into The Wheel. The next time they don’t fail to roll into my favorite song but not before getting into one of their classic “head-scrambling feedback” jams that always stand out as one of my favorite parts of the Dead’s repertoire.

Dick's 2nd Review1st set is really pretty impressive! In fact, this whole show seems very exciting and almost is deserving of a Thunder Skull Award. The Other One seems way more full-filling than present day attempts. Stella Blue is pretty inspiring but it is cut short for a few minutes of spontaneous jamming that is reflective of this great show. Especially for 1976
