Dick's ReviewThe 1st set is nothing to write home about. But the 2nd set was superb, with an outrageous jam that is full of exciting surprises. Overall (even considering the jam) the show is less than mindblowing, with very few tunes done in a refreshingly exciting way. Still, it is one of their better shows from the 1977 tour

Dick's 2nd ReviewWell obviously this show isn't one of the better shows from 1977. It is very good (the 2nd set that is) But there are at least 10-15 shows I would rather hear from this year. The tempo seems extremely slow. I guess I haven’t heard an early 1977 show in awhile. This is one of the first 2 or 3 times they did Fire On The Mountain. Help On the Way is exceptional and is easily the most intense and interesting playing so far. This is also one of the few times they played this tune in 1977 (I don’t think they even tried this one again until 3/25/83 - Compton Terrace, Arizona) Franklin’s Tower is very exciting but it seriously lacks the development of the modern times. The slow tempo makes it sound like their on quaaludes. Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad is quite a thrilling approach to the finale and it goes a long way toward establishing this as an excellent show. The transition into Not Fade Away is a fantastic turn on. I can’t remember when Not Fade Away ended the show! Exciting finish!
