Dick's ReviewRob (Bertrando) feels that this series at Winterland was the best quality tapes of the year, if not the century, but I find that they are only equal in excellence to many others, to numerous to list. Actually that isn’t all-together true: only 11/4-6/77, 5/8/77, 5/9/77, 9/3/77,4/25/77, and 2/26/77 come to mind from the tour of ’77. The show itself is dynamite. Almost as good a first set as the 6/4/77- Forum show. The jam from the 2nd set is the longest in 7 years: 83 min. only Sacramento’s 1/17/78 is longer: 84 minutes. It includes a rare appearance of Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad which hasn’t been performed much in the last 3 - 4 years, especially in 1977. I have to revise my opinion and say clearly that this show was the best one of the 3 nights. One last thing, the encore Brokedown Palace is a clear indication of how potent a show this was, since they usually try to “rave-up” the action so everyone can release any last tensions
