Dick's Review | One of the hotter periods in Dead history. The opening medley is pretty good but not up to the intensity of several versions from this period of time. Nothing really stands out after the opener (Bertha) until we finish the set with Let It Grow which is not that unique or compelling itself (plus it is very short!) Samson And Delilah starts the 2nd set off with an intensity that surpasses anything in the 1st set. For the first time ever, I feel that Sunrise is different or a tiny bit more intense than usual! |
