Dick's ReviewThis is another hot show. It seems that the more I listen to this tour, the more impressed I become (contrary to the opinions of Rob Bertrando who feels that 4/78 > 9/78 was one of the all-time low spots in Dead history!) I especially love shows that start out with lots of excitement and everything has a real snappy feeling to it and it appears this is one of those shows. Row Jimmy is the highlight of the 1st set. It being perhaps my most favorite version. This version of Bertha > Good Lovin' is one of the top 3 of all time! Only 1-13-78 and 11-4-77 compare in my opinion. Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World is also one of the most exciting versions of this medley I’ve ever heard. And to make things even more tantalizing , the percussion jam was also very tasty and fitting within a fantastic jam. Truckin' and Wharf Rat both have some very exciting places but they aren’t in the “best of all” category

Dick's 2nd ReviewThe Bertha > Good Lovin' medley is not as great as I thought at first. Bertha is not even close to the incredibly thrilling version of Good Lovin'
