| Dick's Review | The 1st set is adequate but nothing exceptional except for Let It Grow which Steve (Rolfe) said is the greatest thing the Dead have performed in many years! | |

| Dick's 2nd Review | I must have been falling asleep when I first analyzed the 1st set. At least it is actually very good and worth keeping. Each tune has something to it, even though there is nothing outstanding, as Let It Grow. Big River is quite extended and exciting. This is an excellent 1st set, not one of the best, but better than most. |
