Dick's Review | The opening medley is blistering and promises perhaps the most exciting show of the three but lo and behold the remainder of the 1st set is only a bit above average. A very spirited Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain opens a hopefully thrilling 2nd set. Estimated Prophet is excellent except for a terrible break in the middle. Eyes Of The World is adequate but nothing really grabs me. The percussion jam is very good although not as the night before, I think. The following jam section is quite lengthy and interesting but nothing spectacular to say the least. Everything that follows is again quite average. Not what you would call a great show but I could be mistaken since I had a few interruptions. |
