Dick's ReviewI didn’t feel particularly excited about this show and it certainly wasn’t close to its counter part from last year but it still was a very fine show. (Scratched out: Kind of controlled as the Warfield shows were).) The 1st set is all pretty decent but nothing special except Cassidy and Deal which is always exciting since they changed the style of the ending at the Warfield shows. The 2nd set opens with a rousing version of this familiar medley: Fire On The Mountain has some especially exciting playing! Playin' In The Band is noticeable and exciting although quite short as is always the case since 1974! The 1st jam section is also very nice being in a similar style to Playin' In The Band. The percussion jam is up-tempo and is quite entertaining, although again it is unusually short before Garcia starts the 2nd jam section which is one of the highlights of this very fine show. It doesn’t qualify as a melt down but it is quite enjoyable. Not Fade Away seems quite aggressive but actually there isn’t a lot of unique or exceptional playing on it. Black Peter gets quite intense before missing a great transition to Around And Around. Good Lovin' is great and finishes perhaps my second favorite show of the five!
