Dick's ReviewThe opening medley is quite exciting and much more than I was led to expect. Especially Mississippi Half Step…. Bird Song isn’t too noticeable but Little Red Rooster is always pretty thrilling. Looks Like Rain is surprisingly thrilling and then we get the killer ending which must have destroyed everyone there. China Cat Sunflower is quite exciting but I Know You Rider never seems to get off the ground. The 2nd set opening is uneventful. Estimated Prophet meanders for a long time after an initial flash. Eyes Of The World is pretty good, a bit better than its preceding tune anyway. The 1st jam section is quite tasty and easily the best playing in this 2nd set. Furthermore it lasts for about 10 minutes. The percussion jam is very intense and aggressive and it leads into the easily distinguished highpoint of the show which is the intense Brain-Fry they get into during the 2nd jam section: Awesome and one of the more thrilling sections in quite awhile excluding a few obvious nights. Truckin' is pretty average. The following jam section is another very nice part of this very nice show. (Scratched Out: Even through it only lasts about 3 minutes before Brent signals the change of mood.) It is always sort of disappointing when they give up on such a potential feeling and drop into something so familiar but here the jam lasts for about 10 minutes and is another highlight of this excellent 2nd set.
