Dick's Review | The quality of the performance is definitely up but nothing really impresses me until Hell In A Bucket which is probably one of the first attempts of this rouser on the east coast. The Music Never Stopped is easily the most exciting playing in the 1st set and is one of the best versions I’ve heard. Within the top ten! The 2nd set opens with average versions of the first three songs. The 2nd set doesn’t have much to offer except for a new Weir vocal riff just before The Other One about something to do with I Just Want To Be A Star - Bob Star. The rest of the show is about average at best. The one will most likely be erased! Sugar Magnolia has about as much energy as this show is worth. It's the only worthwhile segment during the whole show. |
