Dick's ReviewAs I recall this was one of my favorite shows of the tour and I know Rob thought so. Shakedown Street is one of the better versions and a great opener. Little Red Rooster is very thrilling with inspiring slide by Weir. The crowd excitement has a lot to do with the rush. The rest of the 1st set is pretty uneventful until a rousing version of Deal to end a pretty good set. Help On The Way > Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower is easily the most exciting playing so far with the ending tune being especially more dramatic than usual. Saint Of Circumstance is also performed with more involvement than usual. The following jam section has Weir chording a Riff/Melody line that was a big thrill back in 1973-1974 (12/2/73- Boston Music Hall) I haven’t heard it since 1973 or 1974 until here and more prominently at San Francsico on 12/30/83! The next exceptional highlight is a super version of Morning Dew. The Space > Truckin' is good but I didn’t notice anything that was outstanding as I was talking to someone. The Morning Dew might be the most exciting since the really big one (5/8/77 - Ithaca)
