Dick's ReviewThey start off in a the style of a potent show but this exciting medley is just a bit above average at best. The next 3 tunes are indicative of a show that has gusto but none are outstanding in any particular way. Little Red Rooster is the first indication that something much larger is occurring! The remainder of the 1st set is also somewhat stimulating but not at all as exciting as I remember feeling at the show. The 2nd set opens with a very satisfying version of Shakedown Street which has a special kind of bounce or happy flavor to it. The Women Are Smarter is also very stimulating. Nothing really exceptional until the jam section where Weir and Garcia bring back one of my most favorite riffs from the past. I.E. 7/31/74, 12/2/73 This is really shocking and one of their best surprises I can recall. The rest of the show seems somewhat average.
