Dick's Review | Cold Rain And Snow is especially well done and Greatest Story Ever Told isn’t too shabby either. Things seem to remain on this high level throughout the 1st set! The unusual closing medley is very good but only the Dancin' In The Streets segment had much excitement. Actually, Franklin's Tower wasn’t too bad. Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain is very exciting but not in the best of Category. Let It Grow is done the best I’ve heard since they brought it back a couple of months ago. One of the highlights of this show has to be the killing version of Truckin'. I like the aggressive attack of the percussion jam. And the jam section following it is very tasty but too short! Wharf Rat is average. Surprising ending to the jam. This show seems to deserve a Lightning Skull Award since all tunes are noticeably intense and interesting. The only thing that’s lackin I guess is some special highpoint. Instead all tunes are done very well. I guess since there hasn’t been many others from this period I will give it my highest award! |
