| Dick's Review | Jack Straw is exceptionally exciting. Franklin’s Tower is ok but nothing very noticeable. Let It Grow is a nice surprise at this point in the show and this version is good. Not much else for the 1st set with its typically disappointing set closing medley. Estimated Prophet is really the 1st notice of anything captivating. Also a very sudden and surprising transition into The Other One is handled OK. The Other One is another (medium range) highpoint of this fairly exciting opening to the final jam. The percussion jam is pretty entertaining and the 1st jam section is just a short send up to Not Fade Away which is pretty enjoyable. Black Peter is fairly typical of the average nature of this show. Typically disappointing ending, equal in value to the ending of the 1st set. |
