Dick's Review | It’s about time I find out whether this show deserves a Thunder Skull Award!! The quality is very nice. Mississippi Half Step is average maybe a tad more interesting but not much. Garcia seems to feel a hair up his ass here. It is a pretty fine version for an opening medley. A nice 2nd medley attempt that certainly feels like we are in for an exciting night. | |

Dick's 2nd Review | The show is somewhat lacking of a Thunder Skull Award. The best, or most interesting playing occurs after Terrapin Station. Everything before is average all the way back to Big River. The percussion jam is very nice but hardly qualifies in terms of this show getting such a high award. I guess what got me so excited about this show was the exuberant version of The Other One which always alters my overall interpretation of a show!! Stella Blue and Sugar Magnolia are both excellent which confirms my closing memory of this very good show. Having Casey Jones as an encore continues to confirm my original impression of this show being quite special. |
