Dick's ReviewThe show starts off in a fairly exciting fashion with a good version of this typical medley. Cassidy also has some juice to it. Althea > Little Red Rooster also stands out nicely, although not up to the exceptional versions of these songs. I almost forgot to mention the intense excitement of Me And My Uncle > Big River which seemed unusually above average. China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider as is most often the case is the clear highlight of the 1st set. It being one of the better versions. The 2nd set opens with a nice surprise: An exciting Shakedown Street. Estimated Prophet is unusually tantalizing and one of the highlights of this show which was dedicated to Bob Marley. The 1st jam section after He’s Gone is an intense build up to The Other One but things change to a very familiar blues theme that I can’t recall now but this adds to the greatness of this show which I must now begin to see as deserving of a Lightning Skull Award. Only a total collapse of excitement following the percussion jam could ruin things! This percussion jam is one of the most aggressive and exciting in a while: Great! The 2nd jam section does an exciting job of setting up the Big One: The Other One which is also especially exciting. Wharf Rat > Sugar Magnolia are also exceptional. Fantastic Show!!
