Dick's Review | The show itself is quite tasty. The Dark Star jam is quite an unusual treat. It’s hard to imagine so different versions of that tune as is from 2/11/70 to 2/13/70! This version is somewhat of a rouser throughout. The unique aspect is a long jam built around the “Spanish Style” (Spanish Jam) motif so similar to many of the jams from 1974. Another especially important reason that it differs from almost ever other Dark Star I know of is because Duane Allman is playing guitar on it. | |
