Dick's Review | Very famous show, part of which was used for the Bear’s Choice album. The Alligator jam has a few breaks but it still stands out as a fantastic quality tape. There is conversation with the crowd during acoustic stuff and there is other "loose" talking sprinkled thru out the tape! | |

Dick's 3rd Review | From a tape received on 1980-01-06: I can’t emphasize enough how impressive the Not Fade Away is. I don't think a better one exists. This is definitely a piece of music to be set aside and marked "Rare Wine." This is also a fairly long rendition - over 15 min - and filled with super fine playing and tasty riffs throughout this jam. This flows expertly into Mason's Children which is a tune that I miss maybe the most of all - except for Caution and The Eleven and That's It For The Other One - This is pretty good, nothing exceptional. The change into Caution is seamless. As I recall, the highpoint now occurs. Incredible version of Caution and quite lengthy. This whole middle of the Alligator jam is deserving of a Thunder Skull Award. The finest of the finest!! I like the feedback a lot. A perfect ride down from supernatural heights |
