| Dick's Review | This is Menke’s first Dead concert and he taped it with a portable Sony with a built in microphone! It was also the only show Carol and I saw in 1971. The only memory I had of this show was seeing Sugaree performed for my first time). The Truckin' > The Other One jam is done very nicely. This might have been the last show before adding Keith Godchaux in October. But the most tasty part is the stuff they get into after coming out of Me And My Uncle just before they fall back into The Other One. They use the basic theme of The Other One but it is so varied that it qualifies as a jam. |
