Dick's Review | The 1st set is pretty typical of 1972-1973, that being always un-eventful. I am beginning to wonder why I bother keeping most 1st sets. I guess I don’t need blank reels so badly at the moment. Here Comes Sunshine is the 1st excitement of the show and this version is average. The obvious highlight, as usual is Playin' In The Band. Truckin' has some nice playing at the end which should almost qualify as a jam segment. Nothing much after this it seemed to me. All things considered, this is a pretty uneventful show. |
