Dick's Review | This show starts off in an awesome fashion. Both Here Comes Sunshine and Weather Report Suite are performed intensely and clearly fall in the “better than average” category. Truckin' has some nice low-key jamming at the end of the words (of course!) and Phil flirts with The Other One and then they fall into a short drum solo before Phil gives us what we all want. He sure seems to be playing with gusto here. This is a very fine version and must be considered as one of the highlights of this excellent show. Eyes Of The World is also quite thrilling and equal to the best from this show. In fact this version is one of the best ever) Sugar Magnolia is a perfect thriller for such a nice show. Unfortunately it is cut near the final rush of Sunshine Daydream. This show gets a Thunder Skull Award |
