Dick's Review | Me And Bobby McGee is surely one of the finest versions with an abundance of great riffs from Garcia. Here Comes Sunshine has some very nice moments but it doesn’t stand up to the earlier masterpieces (6/22/73, 6/10/73 and 12/19/73) Promised Land is especially intense for versions before 1977 or 1978 when every version is potent. The closing 1st set medley is one of the better overall renditions (pretty good anyway) and is the highlight of the 1st set. The 2nd set isn’t actually that exciting but the playing is definitely good. The jam doesn’t have much to offer which is in itself pretty unusual. The best part is the spacey jam section that they get into in the middle of The Other One, another highlight is the interest re-entry into The Other One. | |

Dick's 2nd Review | Weather Report Suite > Stella Blue is the best thing from this show except for the final jam. There’s a nice Jam section between He’s Gone and Truckin' |
