Dick's Review | Very fine show. There seems to be some distortion almost totally on the 1st set, which isn’t anything special anyway. Their approach is very high energy, fast and aggressive. The highlight without a doubt is Playin' In The Band which is perhaps their most unique rendition of this tune. If for nothing less than the total time of the tune (46 min). I can’t remember hearing such a bold and sustaining attack as in Playin' In The Band. They don’t let up for one second for 35 minutes. It reminded me of what I always want to hear when they fall into The Other One. I like the controlled way they do Sugar Magnolia. Might be the best Big River ever |
