Dick's ReviewThe first set is not very impressive except for the lengthy version of Playin' In The Band with a rare middle tune. Most of the tunes seem to be just adequate versions with little spontaneity and unusual riffs. The highlight is the jam section within the closing jam. Not as eventful as 6/28/74 but similar in that the Spanish motif (Spanish Jam) is touched on. They also get into some unusual and trippy stuff during the 2nd jam section just before they drop into a nice rocking & rousing version of Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad and the the surprise return of the closing part of Sugar Magnolia. They could have done a better transition between Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad and Sunshine Daydream.

Dick's 2nd ReviewRob is correct by saying how outstanding the playing is at the close of the 1st set. Especially the Playin' In The Band jam. Sugar Magnolia is styled quite uniquely and is a highlight. The jam after Truckin' is the highpoint of the jam. With a long slow pretty solo by Garcia, then Lesh, and then a taste of the Spanish Jam theme

Dick's 3rd ReviewBecause of the paucity of great shows from this year, I have to give this one a Thunder-Skull Award. The playing is consistently well done with 4 - 5 real highlights
