Dick's Review | China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider bristles with energy and is very uptempo or fast paced. Quite exciting. Truckin' is also exceptional. The following jam section is very nice, gradually easing into a mini meltdown. All tasty playing but nothing outstanding. Eyes Of The World is excellent and is actually the best playing from the show. Not Fade Away is another highpoint of this show and contains some excellent interplay and jamming during the last half of the piece. Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad is also excellent. I had to hesitate giving it a Thunder Skull Award but there weren't too many examples in the 1974 of beyond-the-call-of-duty shows. | |

Dick's 2nd Review | On the 9/21 performance doesn’t stand out very much at all. The Phil And Ned > Playin' In The Band section is uneventful. Pleasant but rambling. Morning Dew is the only thing so far that has caught my wandering attention. |
