Dick's Review | The radio somehow missed The Wheel in their transmission of the show - Steve (Rolfe) spliced in an audience recording. Anyway, the great quality inherent in FM and board tapes, just makes each song a thing in itself. it is difficult not to put a red mark by everyone and the jams definitely stand out. Wharf Rat fades in a pleasant and refreshing way (more Rockfish) as it leads into Comes A Time. I like the jam part best since it is here that the decisions are made as to what to go into. The encore was quite unique and well done. This show is much better (performance-wise) than either 6/9/76 or 6/10/76. It remains to be seen whether the 6/11/76 show is the best of the 4 shows in Boston. It certainly seemed that way to me, as I saw them. | |

Dick's 2nd Review | ((Sticky note)) after a 2 1/2 year interval this show is pale by comparison to later ones |
