Dick's Review | It has taken me awhile to put down on paper what I think of this show, which is one of my favorites of the 1977 tour. The quality is excellent and the 1st set has to be one of the best ever! The jams are done exceptionally well with a very rare appearance of China Doll within a super fine closing piece of music.. (Scratched out = I also have to step out and say that this has to be the best Jack Straw that I have yet heard)) The drum solo into Good Lovin' is very nice. The transition between Playin' In The Band and Franklin's Tower is a fine rush. I have never heard a faster version of Not Fade Away. | |

Dick's 2nd Review | The jam section following a very rousing version of Franklin’s Tower is quite unusual. It almost seems like they just stopped and spent some time daydreaming! I’m not yet sure why I gave this a Thunder Skull Award, even though it is a good show. |
