| Dick's Review | This is an example of a very hot show, one of the best of ’77. The quality of this recording is in the very good> exc. range. Every tune has a sparkling presence to it, that marks a great show. To further give evidence for this even El Paso has something special to it! The 1st set is all pretty even with no tune standing out heavily but each performed exceptionally well. (except Let It Grow which is great) Bertha > Good Lovin' is as good as it gets, A LA 11/4/77, 1/13/78, 4/12/78, 10/21/78) Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World is very nice! Saint Stephen is a big treat as it tastefully comes out of a jam section. Not Fade Away is perhaps the highlight of the show, although it is pretty short. Black Peter is better than usual and Sugar Magnolia is very exciting. | |

| Dick's 2nd Review | The jam section before Saint Stephen is very nice and Saint Stephen itself is one of the better versions. The drum solo is actually a jam section mainly concerned with Lesh and the drummers playing with the basic rhythmic pattern of Not Fade Away |
