Dick's Review | Nothing special happening here although I did keep a few of the highlights and the jam. The quality is not exceptional in anyway but it is pretty good. Big River is really hot! The Music Never Stopped is definitely the highlight of the 1st set. It being one of the finest versions. Menke’s friend said that this is a great version of Terrapin Station but I didn’t notice much uniqueness. The jam section is filled with treats and is very long (20 min) and even includes a drum solo of sorts. Clearly this jam section is the highlight of the show which is much better than I remembered. Wharf Rat is kind of unique and exciting and the small section between Wharf Rat and Sugar Magnolia is great with the change into Sugar Magnolia being very fine. Sugar Magnolia is excellent. |
