Dick's ReviewThis is one of my favorites (I think mainly because of the insane jam they get into right after the percussion jam from the 2nd set and also because of the beautiful quality. I would only think of a few other boards that are superb. The 1st set is good but the versions have been performed more excitingly before and since, There is a very unusual The Music Never Stopped with Weir and Donna saying/singing a few unusual or rare shouts back and forth. (Sounds like everyone was feeling real good). Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain is most unique and exciting. The craziness actually begins during the percussion jam which is clearly the most bizarre and delightful drum jam that I have ever heard. But once the band comes back, they get into one of the most special and precious moments that I can think of and then things slow down before the drummers set-up Not Fade Away which is done in a tasteful but controlled or subdued style.
