| Dick's Review | The performance itself is very lacking in inspiration. The first set is clearly one of the poorest and least noticeable performances in many years. The only interesting thing up till the jam is the fact they did Don’t Ease Me In which is only interesting on paper! The playing begins to sound interesting near the end of Playin' In The Band. The drum solos are losing their attraction for me lately. Nothing unusual except the vigor and speed of their attack. But the jam section following this drum solo is very nice and perhaps the high point of an uneventful show. Although Weir does some nice stuff on Shakedown Street. |
