Dick's Review | Menke, Reinhart, and all the others thought this show was the culmination of the past 3 dates. I feel that it is an excellent show but not great aka May 4, May 7, 8-12-79, 8-13-79. The jam is very nice with the highlights being the jam section after the drums (later noted: actually this isn’t special at all) and the superb transitions between Stella Blue which was also tasty and Truckin' and the best of all transitions, the jam section between Truckin' and Around And Around

Dick's 2nd Review | Franklin’s Tower is pretty fine being in the same class as the rendition from 8/5/79

Dick's 3rd Review | Mississippi Half Step is pretty nice too! In fact the whole first set is quite listenable, although nothing jumps out and smacks you in the face |
