| Dick's Review | This is one show I have never really been anxious to evaluate, mainly because it didn’t impress me much the first time I heard it and the quality wasn’t as good as other shows from this period. Playin' In The Band is really the only interesting playing during the 1st set but it isn’t enough to change my mind about erasing this tape. The jam section following Weather Report Suite is the only other exceptional playing (includes a nice “melt-down” before dropping into Wharf Rat) but even this playing isn’t as creative as Playin' In The Band. |
