Dick's Review | I have been after a superb quality version of this show for almost a year and I still haven’t succeeded. This tape is okay as far as sound quality but there is a buzz in one channel throughout the performance. Actually it isn’t that much of a bother. The performance itself is excellent. All versions are done adequately but the jam is certainly one of their longest, if not fulfilling, experiences in many years. Although most of the elite disagrees with me (Jerry Moore, Rob Bertrando, Steve Rolfe) I think the jam is one of the nicest things I have. Stella Blue has never been done better and Saint Stephen has a very unique and satisfying entrance. |
