Dick's ReviewMany (Joe Thomas at least!) felt this show was the best of the four in London. Feel Like A Stranger is very nice and things continue in an exceptional fashion until Loser which is almost always low key! Candyman and Looks Like Rain are both excellent and Deal provides the high point closer to a very fine 1st set. The quality gets noticeably worse for the 2nd set. Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain isn't very exciting and Lost Sailor > Saint Of Circumstance is the same as always. The 1st jam section which follows a standard version of He's Gone is pretty uneventful which is a surprise since this slot is usually the place where special things occur. The percussion jam is also hardly noticeable but the 2nd jam section following is easily the best part of this pretty uneventful 2nd set. This section is a fairly long meltdown of sorts. Not a killer but what I love to hear! Truckin' is not noticeable but the following jam section is another highpoint of this show: about 3 min of improvisation that seems like a set up for The Other One. The transition into Around And Around is pretty smooth.
