Dick's Review | After hearing so many excellent shows from the 1977 tour, I was somewhat surprised to find that this show is one of their better ones. All tunes are done well but none exceptionally until we get to the jam. The drum solo is quite exciting but what steals the show is the transition from Wharf Rat into Playin' In The Band The quality is excellent. There is a perfect example of how the Dead play riffs from other tunes during Playin' In The Band. Just before they re-enter Playin' In The Band they flirt with part of Terrapin Station | |

Dick's 2nd Review | Actually Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain is pretty exciting and unique considering 1980-81 versions anyway. The jam section after Wharf Rat is great and must be the clear highlight of this very fine show |
