Dick's Review | Eldon (Perray) did the best he could, putting the microphones under his armpits with Egyptian clothing over his body. The security was heavy and many people were stopped from taping these shows. At best, this recording deserves a six on a scale of 1 - 10. The performance is really a fine effort. The 1st set is as good as you want to have it with Deal and Ramble On Rose being superb. In fact these versions might be my favorite of all-time! Fire On The Mountain also has some very exciting solos by Garcia. Following the percussion jam which is pretty spacey itself there is a fantastic feedback-type jam that i have always loved so much | |
